Its Been Awhile!

Its been awhile....{in my best STAIND voice}.......

I have been busy beyond imagine. Life gets crazy and you lose track of time. It seems as though the older you get the faster time elapses! I swear its already almost Christmas and I'm still in SUMMER mode! The intense {heat} and lack of {rain}doesnt help!! Praying for rain daily.....I hope you are too!! My yard is atrocious....although my trusty yard man says it looks good considering! (Thanks PCR LawnStars)

Now that the BIG Smith kids are back in full school mode and Jett is in {and still adjusting} to MDO.....

I feel like I have gone from this....

to this......

I know as my kids get older and go off to college I will really be feeling as though I live in an {empty nest} but right now Im feeling a little empty on Mondays and Wednesdays......BORED if you will.
I know, I know this makes no sense! I will get used to it I suppose but its hard! I find myself lingering around the school asking myself over and over {what to do}

Ive decided Im going to get started back on all of my super fun projects!

Whoop Whoop!!

I have several projects in mind to work on!! Cant wait to post pics!

In the meantime....I'd like to get the blog back into habit!

Since its late and no one is blog reading at the moment.....Im going to prepare for Wednesday!!

LETS DO......
Write-off Wednesday

This is day 3 of MDO and I am feeling more and more comfortable! So Im going to get started on
{to-do}lists and actually Write Off things that are completed!

1~ Coffee Date
2~ Lunch with the BIG Smith kids
3~ Chalkboard Re-do for Jett
4~ Place a Shutterfly order
5~ Work on fall wreath

5 things is alot to accomplish on the 3rd day of MDO.....like I said....my mind still wonders and I worry!
I'll post pics and let you guys know just how good I did!! This is something that will hold me accountable!!
Wish me luck :)

Here is something for you to sit on until we chat again

Risky Post!!

In the past I have tried to stay away from mixing Willow House with my super fun blogging!!
But I am SUPER EXCITED about the new Willow House adventure!!

WH has just announced they are starting a jewelry line!!
Although I am not a BIG jewelry person....
I "love" a few pieces here and there and I am 'in love" with David Yurman pieces!!
I think it is absolutely awesome that "the designer" Sara Blaine is responsible for this amazing jewelry!!
And it is even MORE AMAZING that she is responsible for designing David Yurman pieces.
So how awesome is it that we WH has given you and I the chance
to purchase David Yurman quality pieces at a more affordable price.
Each and every piece will be hand crafted and one of a kind.
It is stunning!!
Take a look.....

It is fabulous and oh so afforable!!

I'd LOVE to host a party with you and your friends and launch this very new designer jewelry with you!!
Email me.....you wont be disappointed!!

Dancing......With Lexee & SSCD!! Who have had a season of a lifetime!!

My Mema had a little health scare and had to have surgery :( Which went great thanks to all of the prayers from you guys!!

EASTER.....which was SUPER DUPER fun with family & friends and a BEAUTIFUL sun shiny day!!

But....believe it or not....through all of this....I have completed a few projects!!!

Can I get a WHAT WHAT!!!

I am going to share pics.....if you take into account....they are iphone pics and dont do my projects justice!!

I know, I know....I need to invest in a camera.....Im working on it!!

Okay so...... A while back I was blog hopping & saw the cutest idea for a little boys room!!
We all want something more.....something creative.....something fun!!
And she nailed it....Literally!!
When we moved into our new home and I let the kids pick their bedding,
Jax chose the MLB collection from Pottery Barn!
I have alot of decorating left to do.....
but Ive been working on one wall at a time!!

I used a plain piece of peg board and spray painted it red.
Using hooks from my Pops garage I was able to hang all of Jaxon's special balls & his first bat, glove & cleets!! I think it turned out adorable!!

I just recently purchased to bins to put under each board for toys & such.....they werent in the pic but they seal the deal!! Hope you likey!!

One more quick pic to share.....
I know its wishful thinking but Im ready for Jett Bugg to sleep in a Big Boy Bed (or half crib!!)
Just because I want to buy cute new bedding and pillows......
So....the crib was originally brown.....and in need of a makeover....
Using a little SPRAY primer and black SPRAY paint....
Look how cute!!

Now Im on the hunt for some HIP big boy bedding!!! Let me know if you see anything!!!

Glad I got to chit chat with you guys!!!
Cant wait to share more pics.....hopefully with a new camera!!!

Im off to a productive start today!!
I had to miss Bible Study bc my little Bugg is under the weather and I didnt want to leave him:(
But I wasnt going to let this day go to waste!!
I braved the grocery store at 8am with my non-morning-person self and baby!!
That was an experience......
Yes....I admit it....I am one of those moms that allows her SCREAMING 1yr old to open snacks if it means peace and sanity on an over crowded aisle!!!
Today......it was a HUGE mistake!!
Clean Up on Aisle 7 Please!!!
We also played the pick up game, super fun for momma!!
Needless to say I made it home by 10:30......Lord that was a long trip!!
I came home with a few things I'd like to share!!

My favorite grocery store finds if you will!!

You have to, have to, have to try it!!
I know it sounds a little strange!! But trust me......it is to die for!! Use it on a sandwich, eat it by the spoon full or bake peanut butter cookies!! You cannot go wrong!!
Its AMAZE!!!
I have only been able to find it at Target!! If you find it somewhere else......I'd love to know!!

Here is an awesome recipe for White Chocolate Wonderful PB Cookies!!!

          You will need:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, minus 1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon cannola oil (or other light oil)
3/4 cup White Chocolate Wonderful Peanut Butter from Peanut Butter & Co.
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoons baking soda
Preheat oven to 350F.

Cream together butter, peanut butter, oil and white sugar. Next, cream in the brown sugar. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Stir into batter in three batches.

Cover bowl, and put batter in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Roll into 1-inch balls (use a mini ice cream scoop for consistency) and put on baking sheet with Silpat or parchment paper, about an inch apart. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cookies begin to brown. Be careful not to over cook them, as it happens fast!

I have told all of you before how much I <3 my Keurig!!
What I dont love about it is the pricey cups you have to buy!!
I stumbled upon the Folgers Brand of cups made just for the Keurig and WOW!!
I was impressed! They come in different flavors and get this.........
Give em a try!!

If yall are anything like me......I am always looking for a low-fat way to cure the munchies!!
I truly think it is impossible!!
But I found these a couple weeks ago....
Theyre pretty good!!
Of course....we would all rather have the real deal but I must say....
I can live with having just these!!

And here is another!!
This is a FOR SURE cure for you late night sweet tooth!!
My mom turned me on to Skinny Cow......
They are delish!!
Even the kids love em......No people....I dont make my kids eat skinny cow!!
But when they run out of ice cream they do and they LOVE them!!
If they pass the kids picky test.....you know theyre good!!!

MMMMMMM....Now Im hungry!!

Try my faves and let me know what you think!! I'd love to hear about yours as well!!
