Spring Break has come an gone. The kids are back in school and Me & Bugg are all alone!

Not to mention its Tuesday and theres no Bachelor Update!!

Soooooooo.....

Let the summer count down begin!!

7 weeks and counting!!!

We had a great Spring Break to tide us over, I guess!!

IT WAS GREAT....AS ALWAYS!!

Who went? Tell me about it!!

I saw so many awesome things.....

from Bling to Boots, to Cows giving Birth ( yes...can you believe?) to awesome concerts~!

Jason Aldean was awesome!!

I must say.....it just isnt the way it was when we were kids!

Who remembers Reba changing clothes like 5 times and having back up dancers??

I guess it goes with the territory!!

We are all in a fast paced.....on the go....in a hurry world!!

This week.....Im working on finishing Buggs room!!

Yes....isnt it sad :( we've been here since December 15th and his sweet little room is still incomplete!!

 We finished the crib.....we finished the dresser....the room is painted!!

Its time to actually decorate!!

Things like curtains, pictures, etc....

I cant wait to frame a big picture of my sweet Bugg and hang it.....

I think I'll use thise one.....he seems so innocent!!

Man are looks deceiving!!

I have a super cute craft I am working on for above his bed and I soooooo cannot wait to post pics!!

Ahhhhh.....what a week!

At the beach, beautiful weather, the echoes adorable laughs, lots of munchies.....LIG :)

Me, Chris & 5 kids have been enjoying the good life for 4days now!

They have done lots of fishing.....

Ice Cream Eating....

Park Hopping....

Putt-Putt Golfing....

Washer Playing....

Golf Cart Riding....

Movie Watching....

And the list goes on!

We've had an awesome time just plain ole relaxing! They are begging to stay longer! As sad as it is....We just can't! Reality has set in & it's time to head home & go to dance, prepare for Nats Shower & hit the HLSR!

Before I go....who watched The Bachelor???

I did, I did!!

I am soo, soo happy he chose sweet Emily!!! Although I was a little sad to find out they had already faced some of lifes hardships as a couple. I must say I love her more now than I did when we all first met her the day she stepped out of that limo!! I think she is such an awesome example to mothers out there! I love that she ALWAYS has her daughters best interest at heart! She could have had the dream platinum wedding.....but it seems as though she takes love & life very seriously & made a wise decision to wait until they know one another better, away from the cameras & the dreamy dates in Africa! You Go Girl! I bet Chantel would've married him right away!!!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their week off! I love having my babies at home with me!!! Let the summer count down begin!!

Ok so I must admit that with my super busy schedule....I have hardly had time to breathe let alone craft!!

So....I havent had much to blog about!!

My poor neglected kids have been eating fast food for over a week & mesquito hawks have taken over my home! The laundry has piled up....The DVR is FULL....and my handsome hubby and I have only bumped shoulders in the halls lately!!

WE NEED A VACATION!!

This is always a super busy time of year for everyone!! All of the kids activities are in full swing and for partyofives like us....we typically have to be in 2 places at 1 time!!

We make it work and are always glad we do!!

This weekend we competed in Stage One Dance Competition and had a STELLAR weekend!!

All of the dancers did an amazing job and we racked up some awesome awards!!

This makes "BUSY" so much more worth it and keeps us on our toes until the next time!!

I must say The Bachelor wasnt all that good last night.....

I am a nail shop junkie.....I have literally had my nails done since my tween years!!

But....Now that I have found this....Its so fun....so easy and so cheap.

Im over it!! (the nail shop that is!)

These nail stickers are so jazzy I do not need my nails to sparkle like diamond in sky!!!

Im wearing the Leopard one now and it looks FAB!!

Here is my tip to you....If you do not have super long nails.....cut the strips in half before applying them.

This will allow you to use each box twice.

Over the winter I went for more of a deep color.

But with Spring and Summer before us I had to run out and get me some!!

You can use the bronzer all over or just in your cheek area.....for a pale white girl like me I stick to the cheek and love how it gives a little shimmer!!!

And how cute is it that it is LEOPARD!!

Seems like its been a while!!

We are in the heart of busy season!! Well.....thats what I like to call it!!

Baseball season starting and Competition season in full swing!!

Last weekend we competed @ MOVE Productions and had a ball!!

Lexee & Aidan did an outstanding job and made all of us so proud!

What a start to a sunny week!!

Well....Ive had a crazy week and its only Tuesday!!

Monday....I played cat & mouse all day!

To the alterations shop and the lady was out....

To the dance store and they were out of the tights I needed....

To the city, to the country, to the studio, to the casa!!

WHAT?!? I was exhausted!!

It was Monday peeps....so go figure....

when I got home.....

I was O_U_T...OUT!!

I TRIED to watch The Bachelor.....

BUT,

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yes, that was really my response!!

I guess Mr.Jaxon decided to stop my recording and record his own deal!!

I was so super bummed!

But too exhausted to worry with it.

Thank the good Lord for internet, I knew I could watch it today!!

Then there was Tuesday....

I awoke to a horrific scream from my little Bugg. He normally wakes up with a cheerfull, "Momma"!

I knew something wasnt right.

So Hurry......Get Dressed.....Grab a Cereal Bar, Brush your teeth, Hurry, Faster, Lets go...

was the conversation for this smithpartyofive this morning!

I was taking my sweetie to the dr as soon as I dropped the Big Sis & Big Bro off!

Thanks to the new Highway 90 .... Oh and STARBUCKS!

I was there in a Jiffy!!

Aside from my weird encounter with a homeless man on my way home....it really was a peaceful drive.

They are super good at this trickin us hoop la. I wouldve swore he was a little uneasy with Emily when he left her house and that her daughter wasnt havin it!

What, What!!

He sent Chantel home!

I liked her...she was ahhhh-ight!! Her job was a little creepy!!

~BUT~

She is NO Emily!!

I sooooo cannot wait for this coming Monday!!

So here is to an end to a stressful start to my week!!

Nooooo cooking....

The kids ate it with friends this weekend and loved it.....

So I knew they would eat it....

I mean I guess it is cooking....kinda....sorta.....

Now off to give meds out and get these little rascals to bed!

Time for family!!

Spending the day cooking, housework, catching up & preparing for the week ahead!!

You've all got to try this YUMMY recipe!

I did...the kids loved it...it was easy...& in this house that means its a HIT!!



Simple Sour Cream Enchiladas

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts, fully cooked & shredded

2 dozen white corn tortillas

1 16 oz. can green enchilada sauce

2 ounces additional green chiles

14 oz. sour cream

4 cups shredded cheese (Jack or Mexican blend)

*using nonfat sour cream and lowfat cheese will decrease the calories!

Mix all ingredients together, reserving 1.5 cup cheese, 2 ounces green chile sauce, and 3 ounces sour cream for topping.  Heat corn tortillas 4 or 5 at a time in microwave on high for 30 seconds, then spoon 3 tablespoons of the mixture into the heated tortillas.  (Heating them helps avoid cracking when you roll them up!) 

Spray a large Pyrex or glass dish with cooking spray (you may need an extra dish), then align enchiladas in a row inside.  Blend remaining sour cream and green chile sauce together and spoon over enchiladas.  Top with remaining shredded cheese.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake in oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. 

  Makes 20-24 enchiladas.

Garnish with fresh cilantro (which I didn’t have) and if you like spice, extra green sauce.

Easy peasy, and oh so yummy.

THE BACHELOR

Last night was awesome!!

First...please tell me why they insist on posting scenes from the next bachelor and they always make you think he is going to kick off the total opposite person than he does!!

I could have sworn from last weeks scenes he was going to let my fave, Emily, go home. The whole "Can I meet your daughter" clip.....When she said "I dont know".....I thought he was outtie!

In which I would have been very disappointed in him for!!

She is so wholesome and true! What lady would ever let a man meet her daughter without some sort of commitment or trust? I think she is totally right....without a doubt....to say she is unsure. I mean that is a huge step for anyone especially for someone who has experienced what she has.

Sweet Em.....(did you notice he kept calling her Em?)

And.....Praise the Lord...

He let MICHELLE GO HOME!!!

She is insane....I hated the Sports Illustrated date. I thought it was a little sleezy that Chantel and Ashley took their tops off but I thought it was even more sleezy that Michelle basically humped him for lack of a better word just to stir up trouble and get attention. Dont get me wrong...Brad should have stopped that nastiness himself but Heaven Help Her....she is COOCOO!! To say the least!!

And that there is why she is......

So I have been a busy little bee these past few days....the kids activities have me wondering if I am coming or going...but truth be known I wouldnt have it any other way!

I am starting to get anxious about getting things done that need to be done around here because I never have time :(

One thing I want to do is a project out of an old door.

I think I want it in my game room...or living...or geez I dont know, somewhere! I just like it!
